  1. Check different woodworking magazines like “Weekend Woodcrafts.” Or Shopnotes, Workbench, etc. Go to your library and see what they have to offer. There are several choices to choose from. Also, next time there is a craft show or Boutique in town, go there and just look around. That’s where I got a lot of my ideas. I used to make Flag cases for memorial flags you get at a funeral. I sold several to different funeral homes, and VFW halls. I also use to make and sell kids footstools. they were about 6-8″ long and about 5″ wide. Just 1X6,with the corners rounded off and routed. The total height was about 5-6″ high. The parts that were on the floor were shaped just like a small bare foot. About 6″ long. There are all kinds of cool things to make. Good luck

  2. diynet.com is a single web site with many project ideas. It is based from diy television and HGTV.

You could also go to the library and search the shelves for many project books and magazines.
